The Hialeah
Technology Center (HIATEC), established by the City of Hialeah, is a non-profit
technology development center dedicated to improving the competitiveness of manufacturing
industries, by providing innovative engineering solutions for biomedical systems,
biotechnology, as well as job training services of competence.
Hiatec continued
activities in four major areas of business and economic development assistance as
follows:
Industrial Training, Educational Programs, Technology Development
and Business Assistance and Business Incubation.

HIATEC provides a
top-level component fabrication, reverse engineering, and prototype manufacturing
services. By means of a CAD/CAM network the process of designing and machining is
faster, more precise, and more effective.
HIATEC products are developed in close cooperation with companies, and are academic
and hands-on. Strong links to the manufacturing community enable the Center to stay
current on industry trends and provide products that best serve business needs
